Embarking on Public Welfare Again：Belle Fashion Donates Customized Children's Shoes to Multiple Village Primary Schools for Two Consecutive Years

BELLE, the flagship brand of Belle Fashion Group, recently donated a batch of customized whale shoes to five schools, including Zhongsha Village Primary School and Dawen Village Primary School in Xuyong County, Sichuan Province. The donation is part of the Group’s ongoing public welfare project and aims to empower children. This marks the second year that BELLE has been carrying out the public welfare project for children.
BELLE whale shoes are warm gifts for the children. The students who received the shoes eagerly put them on and play freely on the playground. Their smiles were infectious as they expressed their happiness about having new shoes for school activities. "We all wear new shoes to go to school together, do exercises together, play together, and do physical labour together, and it's great to have new shoes!"
This charity event "Giving Comfortable Whale Shoes to Children," was jointly initiated by Belle Fashion and Shanghai Smiles Foundation. Shanghai Smiles Foundation launched "Unity Shoes Power" project in 2012, aiming to raise children's shoes in underdeveloped areas like Sichuan and Yunnan provinces. To date, tens of thousands of pairs of shoes were donated to children through this project.
BELLE’s products are well-received over the years, particularly its classic whale shoes pioneered in China fashion footwear design with its cutting-edge technology. Through multiple design iterations over time, the elasticity and comfort of whale shoes have been continuously upgraded.
For this charity event, customized whale shoes were prepared specifically for children living in mountainous areas. BELLE has made special designs for slip resistance, dirt resistance and comfort based on their classic whale shoes. Crystal ultra-soft velvet is added to the inner lining to enhance warmth, and the imitation mesh ultra-fine synthetic leather and composite fiber are used in shoe upper to keep breathability and waterproofness; at the same time, fluorescent reflective strips are added to the shoe upper, tongue, and heel respectively to improve visibility while walking in the dark.
Belle Fashion remains committed to its path of public welfare initiatives by fulfilling social responsibilities through earthquake relief efforts, supporting industry innovation, and carrying out various educational charity activities.
Since 2004, Belle Fashion has made significant contributions including funding Linzhi Belle Hope Primary School in Tibet, Huaiyuan Belle Middle School in Chongzhou, Sichuan Province, and Zijin Lantang Middle School Library in Heyuan, Guangdong Province. In 2011, Belle Fashion sponsored Shenzhen Youth Quality Education Public Welfare Fund. Meanwhile, Belle Fashion collaborated with Shanghai Smiles Foundation on vocational school assistance projects. These projects have supported five "Belle Class" students from underdeveloped areas by bridging them with excellent vocational colleges in Shanghai and providing them with good education and employment opportunities. The vocational school project was recognized as a "Five-Star Excellent Project" at 2022 China Charity Project Competition, benefiting thousands of students in the village.
Belle Fashion believes that embarking on public welfare is an ongoing process rather than a one-off. The Group hopes to build a better society by conducting a series of public welfare activities that accumulate bit by bit towards goodness.
