On April 16^th, National Health Commission of Shanghai Songjiang District received more than 2,000 footwear and clothes donated by Belle Fashion Group (“Belle Fashion”). This is the second batch of love donation from Belle Fashion following on its first urgent donation of 4,000 footwear and clothes to the front-line of the battle against the epidemic in Shanghai. Currently, Belle Fashion has donated more than 20,000 footwear and clothes since the outbreak of COVID-19.

As a megalopolis with a dense population, Shanghai faced significant challenges of the epidemic prevention and control. At this moment, a number of front-line medics from different provinces were devoting their emergency efforts to helping Shanghai get through the difficult time, but many of them were too rushed to pack up enough change of clothes. Moreover, due to the long working hours, there is an urgent need of front-line medics for comfortable shoes. With the awareness of front-line medics’ needs, Belle Fashion has rapidly delivered two batches of love donation to Shanghai, and has made accumulated donation of 6,000 shoes and clothes as of date of April 16^th.

This second batchs of love donation was contributed by the Group’s seven brands including BELLE, TATA, BASTO, Bata, Champion, MOUSSY and SLY. Once noticed the urgent needs of front-line medics in Shanghai in the early of April 5^th, Belle Fashion immediately held the charity event of “Make Love Donation to Front-Line Medics” within the company. As a result, many of the Group’s brands were motivated to make urgent donation of shoes and clothes for front-line medics. The first love donation of 4,000 shoes and clothes has been quickly sent to front-line medics on April 8^th and April 9^th successively.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, in addition to shoes and clothes, Belle Fashion has also donated more than 100,000 masks to Hongkou district of Shanghai, while devoting its continuous efforts to its upstream and downstream partners with epidemic prevention supplies. Furthermore, Belle Fashion is committed to corporate social responsibilities by launching a number of charity events in terms of earthquake relief, educational aid, and industry innovation.
